A bouquet inspired by a friend who has just had a baby boy. Next a pink one for little girls.... I have had that heart shaped bead for ages wondering what to do with it or why I bought it. Sometimes being a magpie pays off!!

And some headbands for little girls . I 've used Simone Perele bra elastic as it has velour on one side so it has a little grip but is sooo soft as well. Feels great and is a good quality elastic, built to last.

Etsy

I am now on etsy www.etsy.com/shop/feltdog and having a lot of fun looking at all the wonderful things on there, can't believe how many people are creating so many awesome things. Setting up there is quite a challenge and there is so much help from the forums, it is a wonderful community.

Photography - getting the right shot - waiting for a sunny day in Melbourne in winter to get right light is one of the first challenges. Light balance, focus, angles....

What to put up, what price and working out the postage!!
The description - not too much, not too little and definitely not over stating or repeating

The tags - what would someone else put in to find what I am selling??
All great things to keep focused

Off and running

The creative process is a lot of fun. The inspiration comes from all sorts of places. Giving your creations to friends as gifts is the first step, putting them into the public arena and selling them is the next. Are we brave enough to expose ourselves? Who do we take our ideas to? Will they buy? What price do we put on our precious items.

I have been giving my bags to people to test and give me feedback. So far it has been quite good. The suggestions have been wonderfully helpful and encouraging. Do they meet the standards fro shop selling or are the more a market item?

Which markets?

I have been to so many markets over the last few months trying to find one where people are actualy buying things and not just looking for bargains. A market where people go to find unique, unusual items. Any ideas?
